The following is the monthly meeting schedule for the City of Sebastian Community Redevelopment Agency meetings for September 2019 through September 2020. All meetings will begin just after the opening and then recess of the regular City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 1225 Main Street, Sebastian, Florida. NOTICE OF INTENT
The City of Sebastian Police Department, pursuant to Florida State Statute 705.103 (2) (a) (b) 1, hereby provides notice to the public at large of its intent to dispose of the property listed below by notification of the appropriate refuse removal service to have the property removed and properly disposed of as prescribed by law. Said property is currently held in the City of Sebastian Police Department Evidence Section.

Any person having claim of any listed item(s) should contact the City of Sebastian Police Department Evidence Section at (772) 388-4428. All claims will be reviewed for appropriate information to verify ownership based on the facts reported at the time of receipt of the property by the Police Department. The claim period will end on 04/27/2020. Any claimants will be notified of the Police Department’s finding toward their claim. If no claims, then the property will be properly disposed of, as described above, and as prescribed by law.

THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22nd, 2020, AT 6:00 P.M. IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS LOCATED AT 1225 MAIN STREET, SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA, TO CONSIDER VARIANCES FROM SECTIONS 54-2-7.5(b)(1), 54-2-7.5(c)(4), 54-2-7.5(c)(6), AND 54-2-7.5(c)(7)d OF THE SEBASTIAN LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
JOSEPH AND JULIA SCOZZARI, IN REGARDS TO LOTS 27 & 28, BLOCK 381, SEBASTIAN HIGHLANDS UNIT 11, LOCATED AT 1401 THORNHILL LANE, ARE REQUESTING VARIANCES TO ALLOW AN EXISTING DETACHED GARAGE LOCATED ON LOT 26 TO BE UNIFIED TO THEIR RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY. THE DETACHED GARAGE IS SETBACK 26.1 FEET FROM THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE, WHEREAS THE CODE REQUIRES ACCESSORY STRUCTURES TO BE LOCATED BEHIND THE FRONT SETBACK OF THE HOUSE, WHICH IS 29.8 FEET. THE DETACHED GARAGE IS 20 FEET IN HEIGHT, WHEREAS THE CODE REQUIRES ACCESSORY STRUCTURES NOT TO EXCEED THE HEIGHT OF THE HOUSE, WHICH IS 15 FEET. THE DETACHED GARAGE IS 1,728 SF IN SIZE, WHEREAS THE CODE REQUIRES ACCESSORY STRUCTURES NOT TO EXCEED 1,000 SF MAXIMUM. THE DETACHED GARAGE IS CONSTRUCTED OF YELLOW CORRUGATED METAL, WHEREAS THE CODE REQUIRES ACCESSORY STRUCTURES OVER 750 SF IN SIZE TO BE OF THE SAME COLOR AND MATERIALS OF THE HOUSE, WHICH IS GRAY STUCCO.
